We are a new Church Plant in the launch phase. We believe the best way to change the world is by creating authentic communities of people who love God, love one another, stand for truth, and live life together. Please reach out if you would like to be part of building this community, dedicated to bringing Christ glory, and loving one another.
There are three kinds of people we think will resonate with what we are doing:
1) Those who love Jesus and feel called to join an exciting adventure
2) Those new to the area who want to plug-in on the ground floor of a new community
3) Those who aren't sure about Christianity, but connect well with compassionate people who love to tackle life's toughest questions and walk with people during life's toughest times.
Mike grew up in Canada but ended up here in Colorado, graduating from Rampart High School and then CU Boulder where he met his wife of 20 years, Nicole.
The Air Force took their family around the world, where Mike served as a Fighter Pilot and Experimental Test Pilot, but he received the call to return to his family's roots and pursue ministry through church planting.
In 2018, he graduated from the Reformed Baptist Seminary with a Master's Degree in Theological Studies, specializing in Exegesis (fancy way of saying "How to interpret the Bible").
"Mine is a story of God's patience with a flawed and rebellious man. God used everyday Christians with a love for Jesus and his word to change my life -- I pray Covenant Grace Church will do the same for you."
We believe that churches should plant churches. Covenant Grace Church is a plant out of our parent and sending church, Cathedral Rock. We are thrilled to partner with Cathedral Rock in this worthy endeavor. you can find out more with the link below. We aren't identical, but we share the same love for Christ and the Bible.
Both Churches are members of the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA) or as it is often known "E-Free." The EFCA exits "to glorify God by multiplying transformational churches among all people."
THE CHURCH IS NOT A BUILDING...
it is a bunch of imperfect people being built-up as the body of Christ. They are like these stones, rough-around-the-edges and no two alike. They are interwoven, depending on one another, and at the center, Christ binds them together.
